I know it is early but I am trying to find out who is going to Daytona Beach this year. We are going with some friends of ours and have heard from alot of people that we ride with that there are going down to Daytona this year instead of Myrtle because of the new laws they have put on biker's so I am just wanting to find out how many of you guys are making the trip this year so maybe we can plan a meet and greet!! We are going from March 1st until the 8th

When y'all go to Daytona, do you have a place to stay? Reserve when you get there? Pitch a tent at a certain spot? What do you do about sleeping arrangements? Would love to go but have no idea what to expect except a bunch of bikes and a good time.

You might want to reserve a room now, they go pretty fast in advance. I'll be there on one or both of the weekends, I only live about an hour and a half away.

That must be nice. I am that way about Myrtle Beach. I am about 1.5 hrs. away! I was thinking if we were going to go then we'd do the tent thing if there was a good place that had hot showers.

Bring the green stuff, cash is king down there.

As far as showers go, check with some of the campgrounds or state parks, you might be able to sneak in there incognito unsure.gif

I live in St Augustine about 45 min ride down A1A beach side.

The weather is the thing that fucks up that party, I have been downtown and riding up to Ormond and the temperature dropped by 20 degrees (no-shit) and then it rained and got freezing cold for the next 3 days.

Sean & I stayed at the Nova Campground a few years ago. Cost us $300 for the entire week. It was a very nice campground run by super people. The showers were hot and clean. I'm a camper myself. I'd rather camp then do the hotel room anytime!

That's a nice deal if they didn't have 7 night minimum's. I only want to go for a couple nights so that boots me out. I will keep looking though

My brother and I have kicked around the idea of going. He has knocked up his wife so his riding time during the middle of summer is gonna come to a halt. If we go it will be during the 1st weekend , my brother has a friend in Deltona,FL that said we could crash there if we wanted so no need to get a room.

I will be going down on Thursday for the Tattoo Daves Chopper Show, went last year and it was the best show I have been too in a long time, mostly garage style built bikes.

The first Saturday the City of Deland closes off the streets to just bikes and is very biker friendly, I plan on making that trip for sure this year.

Not that it matters, but I've been locked in since last Bike Week. Got a condo (time share) for the week. $82.00 ea for a week. Can't afford not to go.

Depends on if Mark get his bike done in time dry.gif ......if so.....we are hoping to go down. I've never been to the Daytona rally so I am looking forward to it.

We could learn a lot from crayons...
Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull.
Some have weird names, and all are different colors,
but they all have to live in the same box.
