That must be nice. I am that way about Myrtle Beach. I am about 1.5 hrs. away! I was thinking if we were going to go then we'd do the tent thing if there was a good place that had hot showers.

As far as showers go, check with some of the campgrounds or state parks, you might be able to sneak in there incognito
I live in St Augustine about 45 min ride down A1A beach side.
The weather is the thing that fucks up that party, I have been downtown and riding up to Ormond and the temperature dropped by 20 degrees (no-shit) and then it rained and got freezing cold for the next 3 days.

Sean & I stayed at the Nova Campground a few years ago. Cost us $300 for the entire week. It was a very nice campground run by super people. The showers were hot and clean. I'm a camper myself. I'd rather camp then do the hotel room anytime!

That's a nice deal if they didn't have 7 night minimum's. I only want to go for a couple nights so that boots me out. I will keep looking though

The first Saturday the City of Deland closes off the streets to just bikes and is very biker friendly, I plan on making that trip for sure this year.

We could learn a lot from crayons...
Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull.
Some have weird names, and all are different colors,
but they all have to live in the same box.
